Recording

Fast to log. Easy to fix.

Pie opens straight to a number pad. Type the amount, tap a category and save. Add a short note, choose Cash, Online or Card, or move the entry to yesterday when you remember it late.

  • Mark money received as a credit, so it isn’t counted as spending.
  • Record refunds against the purchase they belong to.
  • Search your notes and categories, then edit or delete any entry.
  • Make your own categories, in any language.

Switch between today, this week and this month, and see what you spent, what came back as refunds and what actually left your account. Pie compares each period with the one before, so you can tell at a glance whether you’re spending more or less.

Pie estimates where this month’s spending is heading from what you’ve spent so far, so you can adjust before the month is over. Add your take-home income if you want to compare against it, or simply set a spending limit.

AI budget report

Once a day, Pie can write a short read on your budget, profiles, goals and habits, with tips for the rest of the period. It works from totals, shares and counts. Your notes, names, merchants and individual entries are not sent.

Import from Note

Photograph a handwritten or printed list of expenses and Pie reads it on your iPhone with Apple’s text recognition. You check every line before anything is saved. If your iPhone can’t read a note reliably, Pie Pro can send that one photo for cloud reading, but only after you agree.

Delete any time
